Giselle has project management experience in all phases of the hotel industry from the design to scheduling and construction for turnover to the client. Her project experience includes the conversion of 132 hotel units into Timeshare for Wyndham’s Margaritaville; Caicu Rum Bar restaurant renovation, where she received Recognition in Project Management Rewards for this project specifically; project management for Shima’s Restaurant renovation and conversion to Roots Coastal Kitchen; and Deferred Maintenance work for Río Mar.
Following the devastating effects of Hurricane María on Puerto Rico, Giselle’s team held the responsibility of coordinating and processing all insurance related documentation and on-field work coordination of hurricane recovery in Río Mar. With Giselle’s guidance, her team managed to re-open Wyndham Río Mar to the public and guest on March 1st, 2018; just less than 6 months after being struck by a catastrophic category five hurricane.
As part of the AOA team, Giselle is responsible for on-field coordination between hotel operations and contractors, demonstrating an ability to lead, maintain organization, and serve as the point person to all contact with her clients. Her track record acting under extreme conditions proves her dedication to her work and gives us great confidence in her leadership abilities, making Giselle a great asset for our Team.
