Mary was born and raised in Venezuela where she attained a Bachelor's Degree and had the opportunity to work for 4 years for a General Contractor on various commercial and residential construction projects. Since moving to the US, Mary has gained a Master's Degree in Construction Management.
Her project experience is diverse, starting with Epcot France Pavilion renovation Project Team. This project included the relocation and expansion of Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (France Bakery), the renovation of Monsieur Paul Restaurant (former Bistro De Paris) and the transformation of the Old Bakery into L'Artisan des Glace (Ice Cream Shop).
Mary has had the opportunity to work on several other projects including Spice Road Table Restaurant at the Epcot Morocco Pavilion, Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC (former BabyCakes) Commissary move from Downtown Disney to Kissimmee, New Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC at Disney Springs, Mitsukoshi BOH Storage Area Renovation and Office Trailer at Epcot, Mitsukoshi Katsura Garden Deck at the Epcot Japan Pavilion and Epcot's Park and Event Dish Room Renovation.
Mary has had the opportunity to learn and grow professionally through each of her projects. Each project has presented very unique challenges, and has provided her different tools and lessons learned to apply in current and future projects. She has also had the opportunity to work with exceptional people inside and outside of AOA.
