Project Description: 

Posed within the district of Disney Springs as an industrial era power plant, The Edison boasts industrial steampunk style throughout.  The atmosphere is energized with live nightly performances, music, media, themed propping, craft cocktails and cuisine. 

 

AOA served as the project management team for the client throughout the life of the project.  AOA also supported the creative development of the show set scenes including the clock, generator and also production of the Breaker Bar.

Maria & Enzo's Ristorante

DISNEY SPRINGS, WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

Project Description: 

The creation of Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante began as a renovation of the former BET Nightclub located in Disney Springs. As legend has it, the building was a 1930s air terminal, remodeled by an immigrant family as a place for Italian cuisine. Guests can be seated in the Main Terminal, or enjoy an upgrade to the First Class Lounge.

Enzo's Hideaway Tunnel Bar

DISNEY SPRINGS, WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

Project Description: 

Enzo’s Hideaway was created by remodeling the old operations tunnels between the Adventurers Club and the BET Nightclub in Disney Springs. Although a lot of the construction in this building is new, this place will transport guests to a speakeasy atmosphere straight out of the 1920s. Once a meeting place for flyers smuggling hooch, it now serves up food and drinks for guests within its tunnels and archways.

Pizza Ponte

DISNEY SPRINGS, WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

Project Description: 

Pizza Ponte was created by remodeling a portion of the former BET Nightclub. According to Disney lore, the bakery and pizzeria occupy part of the lobby of the old 1930s air terminal that once served the town. Located next to Maria & Enzo’s, Pizza Ponte is a casual place for family celebrations featuring wood-fired pizza, pastries, pasta, and more.

Toppers Craft Creamery

Project Description: 

AOA was responsible for the make-over of this classic Floridan soft-serve ice cream chain. The remodeling of Toppers began with a new logo and the renovation of their Renaissance location near SeaWorld.

Project Description: 

Headlined by a world-renowned celebrity chef, this 522-seat Pan-Asian restaurant aims to inspire and excite through sensory experience and a blend of authenticity and innovation. The star attraction is a spectacular show kitchen, visible to nearly all diners. Brightly lit and taking up more floor space than the dining areas, this gorgeous showpiece places the skill of the staff and the preparation of food in full view, the main attraction of an immersive 'show' experience.

Raglan Road

Project Description: 

AOA provided coordination for all design and construction to date.  We’ve served as Raglan’s “construction/facilities” department, working with the Owner & GM primarily.  Project included complete renovation of back of house including new pot/dish area, hot prep kitchen, flex kitchen, cast restrooms, breakroom, cash room, storage, green room, HVAC & hood controls.  We’ve since been involved with window replacements, roofing repairs/re-roof, LED stage panel installation, HVAC maintenance & flooring replacement.  We've also contributed to an acoustics project in the main rotunda and a build-out of their office space off property.

Coca-Cola Store Orlando

Project Description: 

Coca-Cola has decided to make a ground-breaking concept in Disney Springs with an architectural masterpiece as well as exciting functions within. The Coca-Cola store has a one-of-a-kind shopping experience featuring cool collectibles, recycled gear, and a rooftop beverage bar. AOA contributed Project Management through the life of the project as well as Technical Direction for a guest meet and greet experience.

Bond Night Club

Baha Mar’s resort features a glamorous, 600-guest-capacity night club designed by Kravitz Design. AOA's role as Project Manager and Technical Director aided in the completion of all media, sound, lighting, and effects within the club.

Vivoli Il Gelato opened it's doors 85 years ago in Florence Italy. Now, guests of Disney Springs can experience world-famous Italian gelati, sorbetti, and espresso drinks. AOA was excited to continue the tradition by providing Project Management through the life of the project.

Erin McKenna's Bakery NYC

Project Description: 

Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC is part of the first phase of “The Landing” at Disney Springs.  Bakery NYC, formally known as Babycakes, boasts a large menu of vegan, low-glycemic and gluten-free baked goods to cater to all guest of the park.  This small bakery creates many delightful and decadent doughnuts, pastries, cookies and brownies that are sure to bring a smile to your face.

Battle Street Brewery

DANSVILLE, NEW YORK

Project Description: 

A once abandoned train depot has been given a new life as a micro-brewery. The depot began operation in 1870 and ran until 1975. Remnants of operation days are scattered throughout the brewery highlighting the rich history.

Won a honorable mention in the Building Design and Construction Network 2018 Reconstruction Awards.

Fried Chicken Co.

LEGOLAND FLORIDA RESORT

Project Description: 

This 50’s themed diner environment offers a fun and nostalgic dining option for visitors to the Lego City section of the Legoland theme park. The Fried Chicken Co. restaurant is based on an existing prototype located in Alton Towers, the UK home of Merlin Entertainment.

 

AOA helped fast track this project to completion in 30 days, in an operating theme park during business hours.

RCID Pedestrian Bridges

BUENA VISTA DRIVE, WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

Project Description: 

Over the years, the amount of foot traffic across Buena Vista Drive has steadily increased. The answer came in the form of pre-engineered steel truss bridges, one of which spans the intersection of Hotel Plaza Boulevard and Buena Vista Drive, the other crossing Buena Vista Drive at its third traffic intersection.

Disney Springs Parking Garages

DISNEY SPRINGS, WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

Project Description: 

This project consists of two new cast-in-place parking garages. The Western garage connects directly to I-4 via a third floor by a new connector bridge.  Included in the West garage are, operational spaces, accessible Wi-Fi for guests and operations, video security and radio repeaters.  There are pedestrian access bridges with vertical transportation nodes at each garage to facilitate movement of guests into the Downtown Disney venues.

House of Good Fortune Shop
