Scott carries more than 40 years of construction project management experience under his belt, with a heavy emphasis on coordination for project operations and logistics in hospitality. He is a “well-seasoned” Project Manager both within the US and internationally. Scott is truly a hands-on Project Manager within many disciplines. He has unique experience qualifying him to manage and coordinate the many faces of construction with a focus on hospitality geared projects.
Currently for AOA, Scott is leading efforts at Wyndham's Rio Mar in Puerto Rico where major timeshare renovations to hotel units and associated amenities are the primary focus. Recently as the Senior Manager for the Wyndham Margaritaville Hotel in St. Thomas, USVI, Scott was responsible for leading MEP and Civil, completing plan review, determining constructability and future serviceability and coordinated MEP-F contractor functions with other trades. Scott also was active with the engineering firm of record as well as ownership assistance with constructability, equipment selection on both MEP-F and Civil utilities. Under Scott, the ground up construction of an LP turbine power generation plant and RO water plan was completed.
Scott also provided contract consulting and project management for hotel ownership for Marriott's Frenchman's Reef Resort, completing $21,000,000 of projects in renovation. He managed daily coordination and logistics, including budgeting and cost accounting, for ownership and hotel management for a power generation plant with heat recover, ground up seawater pumping station construction, extensive concrete structural modifications and additions. He also managed a $23,000,000 MEP budget for reconstruction of a power plant centrifugal chillers, generators, heat recovery, all airside and domestic plumbing. He managed construction of a banquet kitchen, restaurant and bar renovations.
