We created the concept of using unique virtual experiences to help Dr. Jane Goodall tell her story and share her message in a unique way to the entire world. Working directly with Jane has been a fulfilling experience and we fully support her goals of changing the way the world thinks about conservation. Watch the video here.

One Vanderbilt

Project Description:
One Vanderbilt is a new skyscraper currently under construction in Midtown East, Manhattan. When finished in 2020, One Vanderbilt will be the second tallest building in the city. The building will feature a stunning observation deck experience with unique elements, unlike any other observation deck in NYC. As the Executive Producer for this experience, AOA is providing creative direction, oversight and management input, tech and design planning strategies for all guest experiences leading to the top of the observation deck.

Project Description:
This thrilling river ride holds the record for tallest water drop in the world. AOA developed the story for this jungle adventure featuring ancient ruins and show set elements designed by our team.

Digital Graffiti
ALYS BEACH, FL
Project Description:
Digital Graffiti is an annual, international projection mapping festival. Out of the 500 applicants that submitted to this festival, AOA was one of 30 that was accepted, and took home the prize of "Best of Show." Check out the video here. "Participation" was the name of AOA's interactive projection mapping experience where guests were encouraged to walk in front of the projectors and speak into a microphone in order to change the visuals and sound surrounding them.

Yuri's Night 2018

Project Description:
Yuri's Night is an international day featuring the celebration of space exploration. AOA provided custom media, projection mapping, and a laser show for the event. AOA collaborated with NASA for projection mapping the Atlantis - a first for the space shuttle!

Project Description:
AOA supported the Universal team as the Show Set Designer. The team focused on developing concepts for the renovation of the pre-show, queue layout, entry marquee, building exterior, and launch tube, by developing drawings through DD for bid.

Baha Mar Entry Lake Show
NASSAU, BAHAMAS
Project Description:
Baha Mar fountains are transformed nightly into an extravaganza of LED lighting, color, Bahamian-inspired moving imagery, and high-energy music. AOA completed Technical Direction for production, installation, and show programming for the Entry Lake Show. The show includes water, lighting, and projection effects as well as media pyrotechnics and original score.

ICON Orlando 360

Project Description:
AOA provided overall project management services and acted as the owner representative for the predevelopment of this destination. Specifically, AOA was responsible for overseeing the Eye ride system and its integration with the Terminal Building and the attractions and amenities.

World of Chima
LEGOLAND FLORIDA RESORT
Project Description:
AOA contributed towards construction management of the immersive landscape, ride attraction, splash pad, and build and race arena at LEGOLAND, Florida Resort. The environment is themed around LEGO’s new product brand, Legends of Chima, the expansion included an interactive boat-blaster and water cannon ride by MACK rides, extensive carved rockwork elements, custom themed scenic treatments, a floating 45’ mountain with water effects, water falls, fog effects, interactive audio and video, water triggered targets and fountains, a crocodile and swamp themed splash pad, pop jets, triggered shower fountains, interactive water effects and iconic sculpted elements.

Legoland Water Park

Legoland Florida opened their new water park in Spring of 2012 with Project Management support from AOA. This amenity expands their entertainment offerings and provides a splash of family fun in the Florida sunshine.

Centenary Theater
TARONGA ZOO SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA
Project Description:
As the centerpiece for the century anniversary of the zoo, Taronga is focused on the development of a new 4D theater experience. The theater will transport guests into the natural world from the perspective of animals and their environments. The team developed concepts for the entire guest experience including the entry of the zoo, pre-show, theater, and post-show while working closely with the client and other local consultant teams with budget and schedule.

The Long March Road 4D Theater
YAN'AN CULTURAL CITY, SHANGXII, CHINA
Project Description:
The Long March is simply an amazing story to tell in a 4D theater experience setting. The team was tasked with months of research to develop a movie that highlighted the most important story in Chinese history. Storyboards, theater architecture, script, interior design and pre-show were all designed hand-in-hand for the best guest experience. The final deliverable was presented in a design development level to the client.

Lights, Motors, Action!
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS, WALT DISNEY WORLD
Project Description:
AOA was responsible for the project managment and show production of Disney World's Extreme Stunt Show. The show set, which was originally built in Paris with the help of one of the AOA founders, was moved to Walt Disney World during the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney Land in 2005. AOA assisted in creating set decorations like the facades of buildings, which are loosely modeled by a city in France called Saté.

Harmon Corner
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
Project Description:
Construction on the exterior shell of the new Harmon Corner, located on the Las Vegas strip, was completed in December 2011. AOA managed the bidding process for BPS Partners for the 65-foot- tall by 320-foot $10 million dollar video billboard. The screen wraps around this new shopping mall inspired by New York’s Time Square and is expected to be the defining feature of the project.
The structure seeks to obtain a silver level certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for the USGBC. As of 2012, this screen is the largest of its kind in the United States.

Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children
ORLANDO, FLORIDA
Project Description:
By creating a memorable and positive sense of arrival through this creative entrance renovation, the hospital’s team is able to greet their small patients and their families warmly through the spirit of Disney magic and a cast of characters. The renovation of the entrance to the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children opened in 2005.
